What safety precautions must I follow when operating the Miller Matic 211?

Only qualified persons should install, operate, maintain, and repair the unit. During operation, keep everyone, especially children, away. Always disconnect input power and lockout/tagout before installing or servicing. Do not touch live electrical parts; wear dry, hole-free insulating gloves and body protection. Do not work alone in electrically hazardous conditions. Keep cords dry and protected from oil, grease, hot metal, and sparks. Remove all flammables within 35 feet of the welding arc and watch for fire hazards.
