What is the recommended gas flow rate for MIG welding?
The typical gas flow rate is 9.4 L/min or 157 cc/s (20 cubic feet per hour). However, you should verify the recommended flow rate from the wire manufacturer's specifications. The flow should be adjusted while gas is flowing through the power source and out through the torch.
