What protection does the welder have against short circuits?

The contact tip short-circuit protection prevents damage by cutting the welding output if the contact tip shorts to the workpiece. The fan continues to run. To resume operation, release the torch trigger to reset the circuit. If the contact tip is stuck to the workpiece, release the trigger, stop the unit, and manually separate the tip before restarting.
