How do I update the BIOS using a USB drive without installing a CPU or memory?

Download the latest BIOS file from the MSI website, rename it to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of a USB storage device. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1 (no CPU or memory installation is needed), then plug the USB drive into the Flash BIOS Port on the rear I/O panel and press the Flash BIOS Button. The LED will flash during the update and turn off when the process is complete. (Page 50)
