How do I factory reset the extender if I forgot my password?

You can reset the extender to factory default settings by inserting a straightened paper clip into the Reset button hole and holding it for about seven seconds until the Power LED lights amber, then release it. Alternatively, you can log in to the extender and select Settings > Other, then click the RESET button. Both methods erase all configured settings and return the device to factory defaults.
