How do I disable the DHCP server on my modem router?

Log in to the modem router, select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup, and clear the 'Use Router as DHCP Server' check box. If you disable this service and no other DHCP server is on your network, you must set your computer IP addresses manually so that the computers can access the modem router.
