What should I do if the blender overheats and shuts off?

Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and remove and empty the container, ensuring no food is jamming the blade assemblies. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 15 minutes, then re-install the container and plug the appliance back in before resuming use. Make sure not to exceed the recommended maximum capacities going forward. (Page 11)
