How does the warming plate work, and can I adjust how long it stays on?

The warming plate activates automatically once brewing starts and will shut off after 2 hours by default. You can program it to stay on for up to 4 hours by pressing and holding STAY WARM until the clock flashes, then using the H or M buttons to adjust the time, and pressing STAY WARM again to confirm. Do not add additional water to the reservoir when using the STAY WARM function. (Page 10)
