How do I properly assemble the pitcher onto the motor base?

Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface and lower the pitcher onto it. Rotate the pitcher to the left as far as it will go so the safety tabs on the bottom of the pitcher slide under the safety tabs on the top of the motor base. The pitcher can be placed with the handle on either the front right or front left corner.
