Why isn't my Ninja Pressure Cooker building pressure?

There are three main reasons the unit may not pressurize: the pressure release valve is not in the SEAL position, the pressure lid is not properly locked into place, or there is not enough liquid in the cooking pot. Check all three of these factors and adjust as needed for proper pressure building.
