What should I do before using my Ninja Woodfire Grill for the first time?

Remove all packaging material and tape from the unit, then wash the grill grate and crisper basket in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Ninja recommends placing all accessories inside the grill and running it on the GRILL function at HI for 20 minutes without adding food to remove any residues.
