How do I use the Auto Code Search feature?

Manually turn on the device you want to control and hold the device button and ON/OFF button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid. Press and release the PLAY button, and the remote will send out a series of codes with a 5-second pause between each set. Press PLAY until the device turns off, then press REVERSE and wait 2 seconds to see if the device turns back on. If it does, press STOP to confirm the code.
