Do I need to program the remote when I first get it?

For most Roku-enabled TVs (TCL, Hisense, Element, Westinghouse, Philips, Magnavox, Sanyo, Hitachi, Haier, JVC, RCA), the remote is preprogrammed and ready for immediate use after battery installation. However, some Insignia and Sharp Roku-enabled TVs may require additional programming using the included code list.
