What does error code 5C mean and what should I do?

Error code 5C indicates that water is not draining from the washing machine. Check that the drain hose is not frozen or clogged, is positioned correctly according to your connection type, and is straightened all the way to the drain system. Clean the debris filter as it may be clogged, and if the error code persists, contact a customer service centre (Page 48).
