How do I perform an emergency drain if there is a power failure?

Power off and unplug the washing machine, then open the filter cover by gently pressing the top area (TYPE 1) or pushing down the latch (TYPE 2). Place a spacious container around the cover, stretch the emergency drain tube while holding the tube cap, open the cap to let water flow into the container, then close the cap and reinsert the tube.
