What does error code 5C mean and how do I resolve it?

Error code 5C means water is not draining from the washing machine. Check that the drain hose is not frozen or clogged and that it is positioned correctly depending on the connection type. You should also clean the debris filter as it may be clogged. If the debris filter is clogged, this code will appear on the screen. (Pages 50, 57)
