How does the auto-off function work?

For safety, the product enters standby mode after approximately 30 seconds of the iron not being moved horizontally, causing the steam indicators [5], [6], and [7] to flash. After approximately 10 minutes of no vertical movement, sleep mode activates, and after an additional 20 minutes, auto-off mode activates and all indicators turn off. To reset from auto-off mode, press the on/off button [16] twice. (Page 14)
