What type of water should I use in the water tank?
Use only tap water or distilled water in the water tank. If your tap water is hard, mix it with distilled water — for example, a 2:1 ratio of distilled to tap water for hard water, or 3:1 for very hard water. Never add additives such as starch, perfume, softeners, or other chemicals, as these can damage the product and contaminate clothing. (Page 11)
