What is the correct thread tension setting for the Singer Model 1120?

The basic upper thread tension setting is '4', which is appropriate for all stitch functions. To increase tension, turn the dial to the next number up; to reduce tension, turn it to the next number down. For the lower thread tension, the bobbin case should unwind about 1-2 inches when suspended by the thread if tension is correct. Adjust the screw on the side of the bobbin case if needed.
