What is the Button Sewing Foot used for and how do I use it?

The Button Sewing Foot holds buttons in position while attaching them with your sewing machine, saving time while securely sewing buttons onto fabric. It can also be used for hook and eye closures. Position the button under the foot with its holes in the blue open area, set the machine for Button Sew Stitch or Zigzag at 0 length, and slowly turn the handwheel to check needle placement before making 6-8 stitches.
