How do I perform an alternator check with the Stanley FatMax?

Set up the unit and connect to the battery following the jump-starter connection steps. With the engine at normal idle speed with no load (all accessories off), press the Alternator Check Button to analyze the alternator. If good, the LCD displays 'ALT GOOD'. If out of range, the Fault Icon will flash. Repeat the test under load with accessories on. Press the Alternator Check Button again to stop and turn off the unit. (Page 11)
