How do I program a custom shot volume for One Cup or Two Cup?

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 4 seconds until the ON/OFF and READY lights flash, then insert the appropriate filter basket with coffee and turn the dial to ONE CUP or TWO CUP. When the espresso reaches your desired volume, return the dial to the vertical READY position — the pour will stop and the new volume will be saved. Note that if a Shot Volume Program isn't started within 1 minute of entering programming mode, the machine will exit back to the Ready state. (Page 16-17)
