How do I clean the inlet filter assembly?

Firstly, switch off both electricity and water supplies at their isolator switches and valve respectively. Remove the cover to access the bottom left trimplate where the filter is located (fig.21). Unscrew the cap from the bottom of the inlet pipe, inspect the 'O' ring, clean the filter with a soft brush, then reassemble making sure the 'O' ring remains intact (refer instructions provided in manual section for installers and service engineers, page 23).
