How do I operate the parking brakes on the Bobby wheelchair?

To apply the parking brakes, push the brake lever forward around the bend in the brake attachment and lock it into place in the short opening. To release the brakes, push the brake lever forward around the bend and release it fully into the long opening. These brakes can be operated by the wheelchair user and should only be used to prevent unintended movement, not to slow down the chair while moving. (Page 13)
