How do I start my Whirlpool washing machine?

First, add measured detergent to the washer and place a sorted load of clothes inside. Close the lid, select your load size and water temperature, choose a wash cycle by pushing in and turning the Cycle Control Knob clockwise, then pull out the knob to start the washer. You can optionally add liquid chlorine bleach or fabric softener before starting.
