Shut off both water faucets, disconnect and drain the water inlet hoses, and put 1 quart (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket. Run the washer on a drain and spin setting for about 30 seconds to mix the antifreeze and water, then unplug the power supply cord. When ready to use it again, flush the water pipes and hoses, reconnect everything, and run a complete cycle with 1 cup (250 mL) of detergent to clean out the antifreeze. (Page 15)
