What safety precautions should I follow when using chlorine bleach and other laundry chemicals?

Do not use chlorine bleach and ammonia or acids such as vinegar or rust remover in the same wash, as hazardous fumes can form. Store all laundry aids in a cool, dry place where children cannot reach them, preferably in a locked cabinet. Unplug the power supply cord before attempting any service on the washer. (Page 3)
