What safety precautions should I follow when using the washer?

Do not mix chlorine bleach and ammonia or acids such as vinegar in the same wash, as hazardous fumes can form. Never machine wash items soiled with flammable fluids such as gasoline, wax, or paint, as fumes can create a fire or explosion hazard — always hand wash and line dry such items.
