What does the overfill protection float do?
The overfill protection float is located in the front right corner of the dishwasher tub and keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. It must be in place for the dishwasher to operate properly. You should check under the float periodically for any objects that may keep the protector from moving up or down freely. (Page 15)
