What items should not be washed in the dishwasher?

Do not wash the following items in the dishwasher: cast iron (seasoning will be removed and it will rust), disposable aluminum pans (may transfer black marks to dishes), bottles and cans with glue-attached labels (labels can clog spray arms), hollow-handle knives (adhesives can loosen), pewter, brass, bronze, tin, wooden ware, and disposable plastics that cannot withstand high temperatures.
