How should I maintain the door seal to prevent odors and buildup?

Inspect the door seal for stained areas or soil buildup and clean it using either an affresh® Grit Grabber™ Cloth or a diluted bleach solution (3/4 cup of liquid chlorine bleach in 1 gallon of warm water). If using bleach, wipe the seal, let it stand 5 minutes, then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth and let the interior air dry with the door open. Always leave the washer door slightly ajar between uses to help dry out the washer and prevent odor-causing residue. (Page 13)
