What does the 'Sud' error code mean and what should I do?

The 'Sud' code means there are excessive suds in the washer, and the washer is automatically running a suds reduction routine. Allow the washer to continue, and going forward use only HE detergent, always measure the detergent, and base the quantity on load size following the detergent manufacturer's instructions. If the code appears again after touching POWER to clear it and restarting, call for service. (Page 17)
