How do I add a garment after a wash cycle has already started?

This washer allows an 8-minute window at the start of a cycle during which additional garments can be added — the 'Add a Garment' status light will glow during this time. If the light is glowing, press PAUSE/CANCEL once, add the item, close the door, and press and hold START for approximately 1 second to continue. If the light is no longer glowing, you must press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle, then restart with the new items.
