How do I run the Clean Washer cycle to maintain my washing machine?

Use the Clean Washer cycle once a month to keep the inside of your washer fresh. With an empty drum, add 3/4 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment — do not add detergent — then select the CLEAN WASHER cycle and press START. The cycle takes approximately 50 minutes and should not be interrupted; after completion, leave the door slightly open for ventilation.
