What is the proper way to load my front-loading washer to avoid poor cleaning results?

The washer can be fully loaded but should not be tightly packed, and the washer door should close easily. Mix large and small items, avoid washing single items, and load evenly. Wash small items such as infant socks in mesh garment bags (it is recommended to use more than one bag with equal amounts of material in each). Do not overload the washer, as overloading can cause poor cleaning.
