How do I connect the water supply line to my refrigerator?

Locate a ½ to 1¼ inch vertical cold water pipe near the refrigerator, measure the needed copper tubing length, drill a ¼ inch hole in the pipe, and fasten a shutoff valve with a pipe clamp. Insert the copper tubing and flush the line until water is clear before connecting to the refrigerator's valve inlet. Use compression nuts and sleeves to secure all connections. (Page 4)
