What is the proper way to clean the inside of my refrigerator?

Unplug the refrigerator first, then hand wash, rinse, and dry all removable parts and interior surfaces thoroughly using a clean sponge or soft cloth with mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners, flammable fluids, bleaches, or petroleum-based products on plastic parts or gaskets. Wipe up spills immediately and clean both sections about once a month.
