How much ventilation space does my refrigerator need during installation?

Allow ½ inch (1.25 cm) of space on each side and at the top for proper ventilation. When installing next to a fixed wall, leave a minimum of 2 inches (5.08 cm) on each side to allow the door to swing open. It is also recommended that you do not install the refrigerator near an oven, radiator, or other heat source, and do not install it where temperatures will fall below 55°F (13°C).
