What electrical requirements does the Whirlpool refrigerator need?
The refrigerator requires a 115 Volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only the refrigerator be provided, and you should not use an extension cord or adapter. Always plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. (Page 3)
