How do I activate Manual Mode on the Greenstar 1000?

Press and hold the heating mode button (the flame/radiator icon) for 5 seconds to activate Manual Mode. The flow temperature will be shown between two hyphens on the display, indicating manual mode is active. Manual mode should only be used temporarily until time and temperature controls are fixed, and can be disabled by pressing and holding the same button for 5 seconds. (Page 11)
