The boiler must be thoroughly serviced at least once a year by a competent, qualified person such as a Worcester service engineer, British Gas engineer, or Gas Safe registered engineer. In the Republic of Ireland, servicing must be carried out by a Worcester service engineer or a Registered Gas Installer (RGII).
