What does it mean when the DESCALE/CLEAN light is illuminated solid?
When the DESCALE/CLEAN light is illuminated solid (not flashing), it means descaling is required. Hard water can cause mineral buildup in the machine, reducing brewing flow, temperature, and espresso taste. You should undertake the descaling process outlined in the manual.
