What type of lubricating oil should I use for the S-1000A?
Use only the lubricating oil specified by Brother: JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation Sewing Lube 10N; VG10. If this type is difficult to obtain, the recommended alternative oil is Exxon Mobil Essotex SM10; VG10. (Page 15)
