How do I replace the needle on the XH2177-001 sewing machine?

Always turn off the machine before changing the needle to prevent injury if the foot controller is accidentally pressed. Turn the needle clamp screw counterclockwise to loosen it, then insert the new needle with the flat side toward the back of the machine until it touches the stopper. Tighten the needle clamp screw securely with a screwdriver, being careful not to use excessive force. Before replacing, place fabric or paper under the presser foot to prevent the needle from falling into the hole in the needle plate. (Page 1)
