How do I clean the filter on my Dyson Airwrap i.d.?

First, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool, then use the filter cleaning brush with a rotating action to clean the filter cage. Remove the filter cage by pulling it downwards onto the cable, wash it under a warm running tap, shake off excess water, and leave it to dry naturally. Clean the filter mesh separately with the filter cleaning brush using a rotating and up-and-down action, but do not use water or chemicals on the filter mesh. Once dry, slide the filter cage back onto the cable and twist until it snaps into place. (Pages 10–11)
