What should I do before curling my hair with the Airwrap barrels?

Hair should look dry but feel cold to the touch before curling with the barrels. For straight and wavy hair, use a dryer attachment such as the Fast dryer or Dryer+Flyaway smoother to pre-dry. For curly and coily hair, use the Firm smoothing brush, working downwards in small sections from the ends toward the roots until the hair is slightly damp to the touch. (Page 6)
