How should I prepare my hair before curling with the Airwrap barrels?

For straight and wavy hair, use a dryer attachment such as the Fast dryer or Dryer+Flyaway smoother before curling — hair should look dry but feel cold to the touch before curling with barrels. For curly and coily hair, use the Firm smoothing brush, brushing hair downwards in small sections from the ends towards the roots until slightly damp to the touch. (Page 6)
