Error Code Remote Control Failed
The camera did not respond to remote control commands sent from the smartphone app.
? What Causes This
Device not properly connected to the app, outdated app or firmware version, or connection issue.
✓ How to Fix It
- Ensure the device is properly connected to the Canon Mini Cam App (Status LED should show Green for Wi-Fi or Green>Red looping for Bluetooth pairing).
- Update the Canon Mini Cam App to the latest version from your app store.
- Check and install any available firmware updates: open the app, go to Main Menu > Settings > Device info, then tap 'Firmware Upgrade'.
- Ensure your camera battery is at 50% or higher before firmware upgrade.
- Restart both the app and device, then retry the remote control command.
