Incorrect clamp connections with reverse polarity detected.

? What Causes This

Red (positive) clamp connected to negative terminal or black (negative) clamp connected to positive terminal.

Disconnect both clamps from the vehicle battery.
Reconnect the red (positive) clamp to the positive battery terminal.
Reconnect the black (negative) clamp to a solid, non-moving metal part of the vehicle chassis or engine block.
Turn the Jump Starter Power Switch on again.
