Zone fault — one or more zones in the system is faulted and preventing normal operation.

? What Causes This

Open or faulted sensors, wiring issues, wireless signal loss, or misconfigured zone settings.

How to Fix It

  1. Check the keypad display to identify which zone is faulted.
  2. Verify the sensor at that zone is functioning properly.
  3. Check that all doors and windows in the faulted zone are closed and secured.
  4. Inspect wiring for damage or loose connections.
  5. Bypass the zone if it cannot be cleared immediately and contact your installer if persistent.
